Video Cue updated

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

I’ve released a small update to the Video Cue. It fixes:

at least one scenario in which an initial white frame could be displayed instead of the first video frame
a bug that could lead to a crash when a Video Cue is first run

It is a small change and I recommend that you update. […]

1.3.5 was released this morning. Among the changes are:

Added a “Send MIDI Message” button to each kind of MIDI cue. Handy for previewing the message you’re building.

Version 1.3.4 Available

Sunday, January 6th, 2008

This release adds a single feature: “Bundling”.
You can find it under “File” → “Bundle Workspace…”
To bundle you first choose a location and provide a name. QLab will then create a new directory of that name and copy all your media files in to it. That directory becomes the new working directory, and all the […]

Version 1.1.5 of the Video Cue offers the following fixes:

Fixed a problem where an inefficient use of graphics memory could cause workspaces with very many Video Cues to crash or behave erratically. This adjustment also shortens load times for video workspaces.
Fixed a problem where some video files could be truncated by a small but […]

Sighting: Into The Woods in Australia

Sunday, September 16th, 2007

My university’s production of ‘Into The Woods’ called for not only on-demand […]

Video Cue rolled back to 1.1.4

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

Three days ago we released Video Cue 1.1.5, which was intended to provide more aggressive buffering for higher performance.
Several users have reported this version of the cue has caused serious problems on their systems. Therefore, we are rolling back to version 1.1.4, available from the Update Manager.
Apologies for any trouble this may have caused.

1.3 Available

Thursday, August 9th, 2007

This release is focused on bug fixes, but there’s one big change I felt merited jumping up to version 1.3.
When Leopard comes out, OS X icons will be changing format. In preparation for that change, and in celebration of the many recent high profile installations of QLab, I commissioned Bobby Anderson to give QLab […]
