The Qbox

The Qbox is a toolbox of available cues. Each QLab Plugin that was loaded at startup is represented by a row in the Qbox. You can think of the Qbox as a cue factory: it is used to create each new cue in your workspace. You may create new cues in one of four ways:
  1. Dragging the cue from the Qbox to your workspace.
  2. Double clicking the row of the cue you want.
  3. Selecting the row of the cue you want, and pressing return on the keyboard.
  4. If the cue is in the first ten rows of the Qbox, you can use the displayed command-key shortcut to create it.
You may rearrange the Qbox by dragging the rows to new positions. This allows you to change the command-key shortcut assigned to each cue. For example, if you wish to use Command-1 for Sound Cues, simply drag the Sound Cue to the first row of the Qbox.
