Studio Projects

The Figure 53 Studio is where we share software, source code, and experiments. Everything in the Studio is free. We hope you enjoy it!

Please note we can not provide support for Studio Apps.

Icon

Ultrasonic

A media manager and music library.

Ultrasonic takes the radical position that files and filesystems are actually rather useful. (And not to be messed with without your consent.)

Warning: Ultrasonic is an experiment! We enjoy hacking on it but you should consider it an early alpha.

Streamers

Visual cues for film scoring, ADR, and Foley.

Overlaying streamers and punches once involved expensive, inflexible, resolution-limited hardware and excessive setup time in software. Streamers changes that by bringing the overlay and scheduling of visual events and timecode-synced video playback into one affordable, customizable, and HD-capable software package.

Lockstep

LTC synchronization, no hardware needed.

Lockstep allows you to sync your computer to incoming timecode, without expensive hardware. Unlike some devices that only work with proprietary software, Lockstep generates MIDI timecode for any MTC-enabled sequencer.

QLabKit.objc

Control QLab from your macOS app.

QLabKit is an Objective-C library for controlling QLab using the OSC API.

F53OSC

A nice open source OSC library for Objective-C.

We needed a high quality OSC library for our products. You can use it too.

QDisplay

QDisplay

A tiny macOS application for use with QLab.

It does only one thing: display a floating window in which you can specify a message using AppleScript.

Timecode Display

Timecode Display

A tiny macOS application to display MIDI timecode

Timecode Display is a small OS X application. We built it to use with QLab, but it'll work with anything that sends MIDI timecode.
