Q-Lab Universal Binary?

Reported by: jbessom@mac.com Assigned to: chris
Priority: high Component: QLab

Description

The MacBooks? are shiping now (i have one) and they're blazingly fast. I figure lots of audio people will be jumping on this intel transition because of the speed. A universal binary of q-lab would be great! And the sooner the better - I want to sell my SFX PC!

Since I started working on QLab about a year ago I've been very careful to design it so that the transition will not be too difficult. To the best of my knowledge it will be a fairly straightforward process to create a universal binary.

It's more of a financial challenge than a technical one. While I am drooling over the MacBooks?, I don't have the funds at the moment to make that purchase. I'm currently looking at the possibility of getting one this summer. I'd rather do it sooner but that's the most reasonable time frame I can consider at the moment. Unless you've got some tips on some good lotto numbers. :)
