While I'd like to see this, I have to say it can be dangerous. It opens up the possibility to deleting something, and then unintentionally linking cues. This happens all the time in SFX (heck, I did it last night in tech with QLab). Say I delete a sound cue, and it's associated fades disappear as well...so what if one of those fades was linked to another sound cue or MIDI command? That cue then links up with the one beneath it, causing it to fire when it shouldn't.

Yeah, this one seemed helpful early on, but I think you're right. More dangerous and complex than it's worth. QLab is fairly good about showing off broken cues, and it's easy to delete cues, so I don't think this idea ends up being helpful.
