odd behavior for fade up

Reported by: samkusnetz Assigned to: chris
Priority: critical Component: Fade Cue
Keywords: Cc:

Description

when i don't type in a value for fade time (and it defaults to 5 seconds), and it's a fade up, it appears to actually execute the fade over 0 seconds (instantly).

I have not been able to reproduce this, but it may well be that I inadvertently fixed it in my recent changes to the Fade Cue. Do you still have this problem?

Hi, i too have had this problem. When you add a fade and then assign the sound, on firing the fade without changing any permitters, it cuts the fade, not fades over the default duration (00:05:00). If you change the permitter to (e.g., 4 sec press enter then change back to 5 sec, it then fades the cue). I have found this when you fade in and out.

Many thanks, keep up the great work!

I am using 0.9.4r8.

I had this problem as well. I think tis how the fade cues are implemented. You have to have the initial levels all down at -120. And the Fade ups set correctly to the level you want them to finally hit. This is similar to how you would create a fade up in an Audiobox. But not exactly. not sure if this is still the case in 0.9.5.
